Entertaining
Sometimes when there are a number of books in a series, there is the danger that you will feel as though you have read it before. That is not the case with this series. Cap was a good addition to the Gold Hockey series an was an entertaining read that ticked a number of boxes for me.
Josh is the new captain of the San Francisco Gold and he is driven and successful. To his shock the woman who he has fallen for wants nothing to do with him, or does she?
From the moment we first met Josh, I knew that his story would be something special. He is a man who can be depended on, a leader and a man I fell for quickly. Josh is determined to win Jess over and it was heart warming to watch it play out. Josh was patient and willing to give Jess the space and time she needed and I admired him for that.
The camaraderie and support that the players give to one another added an additional layer to the story and it was great to catch with previous characters.
All the Feels
4.5 Stars for Cap ( Gold Hockey #15) This is Josh and Jess’s story and it’s a wonderful addition to the San Francisco Gold hockey team series. There are fifteen books in this series but I can honestly say none of the stories feel repetitive because each team member featured brings their own trails and tribulations to the table, everyone of them has a story to tell and something to offer readers. Josh is the new captain of the San Francisco Gold and his focus is all about what happens on the ice but he is only human and Jess has caught his eye, problem us she wants nothing to do with him….. Jess is dealing with her own issues and it’s going to take a lot of grovelling from Josh if he is going to make up for their first meeting but this man is determined, patient and willing to bide his time. So will Jess finally admit her feeling for the man pursuing her. One click to find find out. I loved watching Josh prove to Jess that he was worth taking a chance on, I love that this author is not afraid to show her characters demons as well as their passions but what really make this series special is the bonding, support and banter between the rest of the Gold team players. Looking forward to what’s coming next from the very talented Elise Faber.
