Really good.
I have so enjoyed this series. It made a welcome change that, and more so in the beginning, Oliver was reluctant to show his wolf to Cooper. It has never been a huge showy issue, either within the story line or by design in the writing. I like how that aspect of the story unfolds as the books go on and we learn more about werewolves as Cooper also learns about them.
This is another murder/mystery that Cooper and Oliver get dragged into and with it, a legend that appears to be evolving. Scarily. Their relationship is growing deeper and stronger which Cooper feels down to his bones.
I love the emotional dynamic between Cooper and Oliver and the banter and sassy dialogue between the two of them is wonderful.
