Suspense & Romance
Carolyn LaRoche is a relatively new author to me. Two of my favourite types of reads together romance and mystery, so I couldn’t wait to dive in to Danger on the Mountain, book three in the Marshall Brothers series.
Danger On The Mountain had me invested from the first page to the last, I could not put it down. There were numerous twists and turns, some caught me by surprise as I read. Layla is such a sassy, strong woman, a successful attorney and one who is also caring. My heart broke for Ben and everything that he has been through, so much trauma and I was cheering for him to get his happily ever after in The Blue Ridge Mountains.
The writing was strong and had me on the edge of my seat with plenty of intrigue, suspense, danger and secrets. Will Layla and Ben come together and in doing so find a happiness and peace that has previously eluded them?
