Great book, good ending
Dark Places
Disturbing often unpleasant to read, but a well written story. Not a book for the faint hearted or squeamish!
Could not put down
I have a problem where I cannot finish reading books. I get about a third to half way through and get distracted and never go back. However, from the first pages of Dark Places, I could not put it down. Being on an international flight helped, but I finished the novel over a weekend.
Like the title, the book is extremely dark and made me feel quite uncomfortable at times. There is humour, but it's quite morbid; reminds me of Chuck Palahniuk. Looking forward to checking out her other titles.
