Angles and demons
What I thought was going to be your typical teeny love story explodes into a million pieces with the intricate and beautifully written story of Karou and her quest of self discovery. Could not put the book down, or my nagging theories of Freud's Oedipal complex...however that is all banished in the plot twist that sends tingles down your spine and fever into the narrative. An excellent read, bring on the sequel!

Ignore the YA category and give this book a go. Great for all ages
Can't get much closer...
You can't get much closer to perfection. I can't believe that this book doesn't have a rating of 5 stars. Laini Taylor has such a wonderful and vivid imagination. I was so impressed with this book. It did not grab me at first, but after a few pages I was hooked. I have also read the sequel and it is equally as amazing as the first, in fact... it's even better! If you love fantasy, appreciate imaginative authors, and love a good twist, look no further...
