APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
The first book in Martin Walker’s mystery series makes a rich fabric of France’s colonial heritage, modern political extremism and the long shadow of World War II. Set in a close-knit village resisting the EU’s influence, the story revolves around Bruno, a police chief who approaches life with a uniquely Gallic attitude: asserting his country’s superiority over other cultures in regard to food, community and even women. Though Walker is Scottish, Death in the Dordogne couldn’t feel more French if it were written on a baguette.

One of the top crime novels since Val McDermid
If all you can see is ‘leftist propaganda’ you really need to wipe the right wing schmutz from your glasses.
Propaganda
Very disappointed that such a nicely written book degraded into marxist/liberal propaganda around two thirds thru.
You know, all the muslims are inately good and the white people are mostly bad. There should really be a category for it. Leftist propaganda.
