Another single day read. Loved it. Not so much the ending but I hope that gets tidied up in the next book or two. But this was SUCH a good story. What a twisty plot. Excellent and thoroughly recommended!
Great book 2 of series
Enjoyed this a lot more than the first. Quinn is a really likeable character and George was really relatable.
Backstory reveals unclear
The backstory reveals in this book came in drips and drabs and I found it really hard to put together. The snippets of what happened in the past weren’t clear in this story which I found frustrating. Even at the end I feel like it could’ve been put together differently, I found myself reading in confusion (rather than intrigue) and I just didn’t love it like the first book in this series. The characters were interesting and the writing good, I just didn’t like that level of ‘what is going on’.
