Humans sent to a new world find wonder and hardship.
Earth is conquered by aliens, the dissidents and free thinkers are exiled to a new world. Kevin Murdoch is a self sufficiency expert and outdoorsman, he wasn’t even aware of the aliens, until he went to town for some trading. Next thing he knows, he has awoken from a deep sleep on a spacecraft, that has landed on another planet. The other new arrivals, there are twenty in all, nine other men and ten women, scorn his buckskin clothing and rough ways. One of them, who proclaims himself their leader, alienates Murdoch, who promptly leaves the rest to their fate. Murdoch survives or rather thrives, thanks to befriending the local inhabitants, the rest fight and often perish, among themselves.
The story starts off okay but gets a bit hard to swallow sometimes.
Its Great
I loved it, its a great read that is good enough to keep you reading rather than put it down, it also has some unexpected twists. Damn looks like I need to get the rest of the series
