Customer Reviews
Emotionally Charged Rollercoaster!
I tend to critique books by my feelings. If it’s smooth and easy to read, I like it.
If things snag my attention and the flow is off, I like to bring it to the author’s attention as maybe the grammar or description is wrong.
But sometimes I can see that the snags may be the red flags of the story, put there deliberately to get my attention.
I’m not the target audience, although I can channel my young empath side easily enough. However many of the undertones in the book were freaking the parent in me out.
It was done smoothly, subtly, and kept my vibe off-balanced and freaked out for a lot of the book, which I’ll admit enhanced my investment in the story. Our hero found herself in a trainwreck and the challenge of resolving it was a fascinating story arc. Nicely done!
Emotionally Charged is a smooth read. I’m really enjoying Selina A. Fenech’s writing on my first encounter with it, and I am happy to recommend it to others.
