Really enjoyed it :)
Definitely a hot book, I loved both characters so freakin much! Although, I think I may have missed it, how many years had it been since they'd seen each other? 14? 16? Maybe mention that a few more dozen times to really make it sink in
Loved It
5 Star Review
Fearless in book 2 in the Pier 70 series but you can read this as a standalone because each book is about a different partner of the Pier 70 Marina but I do believe you would get more out of this book if you have read Reckless first. We first met Dare in book 1 where he was the joker of the pack but in Fearless we find out why he is always joking around why he is always up for a dare.....
Fearless starts 15 years ago when Dare was only 19 and in love with Noah who at 23 was not ready to settle down. Dare walked away that night.
15 years later Dare not only comes face to face with the man who broke his heart he finds himself sharing a tiny cabin on a cruise ship with him .
This is a beautiful story about second chance romance about the one that got away but it also has some fantastic quirky characters that made me laugh out loud my favourite being Grams who always wants to know if there is any "slap and tickle" going on . But this story isn't all fun and games we do get some sadness thrown in to keep us wondering if Dare and Noah can get over the past and get a HEA.
I love the partners at Pier 70 Marina and I really hope we get more books featuring each of them
A Second Cance At Love Story
This is the second book in the Pier 70 series and I loved it. This is an M/M story; about a second chance at love. It begins 15 years earlier and then jumps into the present. I love how Ms. Edwards set up this story and their history from the beginning.
Although a stand-alone, I would recommend you read Reckless, book 1 first, as you will get a better understanding of the Pier 70 owners and the secondary characters.
Dare Davis is one of the owners of Pier 70 Marina, a fun loving guy who hides behind laughter, never letting anyone get too close. Behind the laughter, hides a heart not fully healed from a break up 15 years ago when he walked away from the only man he has ever loved. Dare has no intention of ever getting hurt again. He has never told his friends about Noah.
Noah Peterson, four years older, is the man who loved Dare but let him walk away, fearing he was too young (at 19) to know what he truly wanted. Not going after him is his biggest regret. Although he has tried to have relationships, he has always compared his lovers to Dare.
All the owners of Pier 70 Marina are in attendance. What no one knows is that Milly’s step brother (who has also been invited) is Noah Peterson. Dare and Noah are both shocked to see each other again when they arrive on the ship.
Milly has always planned to try and match Noah and Dare up, so she arranges for them to share a cabin. No one is more surprised than Milly when she realises that these two already have an intense history together.
Do you believe in second chances? What happens when Dare and Noah both realise that they still have feelings for each other? Will they act on their attraction or bury their heads in the sand and ignore their obvious feelings?
Nicole Edwards is one of the best authors around when it comes to writing M/M stories in my humble opinion.
Fearless is not only an extremely fantastic read, but a beautiful love story: showing that a second chance at love can happen when it is meant to be. Not only that, but I often found myself laughing at some of the antics not only of Dare and Noah, but also some of the secondary characters whom I also love.
One of the things I most enjoy about Nicole Edwards’ books is that she doesn’t just focus on the two main characters; she always ensures we get an overall story with no one being left out.
I particularly enjoyed her references to Hudson and Teague and am anxious to see how their relationship plays out. This was an emotional rollercoaster at times, wondering if Dare and Noah would ever actually get their act together.
