Junkyard dogs? no, shifters abound!!
Shifter communities have found a way to contain the criminals in their packs, problem is that some Alphas abuse their power and send anyone who disobeys or disrespects them to the 'Junkyard'. Lena is one of the 'innocents' sent there, she refuses her Alpha when he wants her as a mate, Shaw was mated to her sister and Lena now knows Sarah's death was not an accident, Shaw killed her. Most of the shifters are criminals of one sort or another and life in the Junkyard is tough. Lena has found allies but she will need all the help she can get when Shaw sentences himself to the Junkyard.

Prison Mates
I have never before read a book with a prison for shifters, so it is an interesting setting. The characters all seem to have secrets, some of which I am sure will be revealed in later books in the series. Lena and Carter have an instant attraction and it was fun to see their relationship build. I look forward to reading more about the Junkyard Shifters.
