Publisher Description
Autumn Rain didn’t always possess the ability to read emotions imprinted on objects. If you’ve enjoyed the Imprints series or are just beginning the adventure, you don’t want to miss this new prequel about her first case as a consultant to the Portland Police Bureau. See how Autumn came into her ability, and how Detective Shannon Martin reacts when he realizes this crazy so-called psychic might just be telling the truth.
Can they put aside their differences and find a missing girl before it’s too late? How many rules will they have to break?
From the author:
I hope you enjoy this introduction to my Imprints series. Readers have asked me for this story, so here it is! Though this is a shorter story and as such cannot contain the intricacies of the rest of the series, it is a complete book with no cliffhangers. Enjoy!

Telemetry helps solve crimes
After her adopted father’s death, Autumn Rain develops telemetry, the ability to read emotions from objects. She is approached by a homicide detective after a young girl is abducted. The detective is a cynic, it’s the missing girl’s father who insists on asking for her help. Autumn finds the scepticism of the police grating but is determined to help regardless. The characters are interesting and this is only a short story, as an introduction to the series. I look forward to reading more.
Great read
Well written. I enjoyed it though it looks like there will be a lot of mush.
A touch of intrigue
I enjoyed this story meeting Autumn Shannon and getting to know how they started working together.
I don’t normally enjoy stories that include anything slightly psychic but I did enjoy this one and the kindness that the characters had to the victims and their family.
The story kept my attention to the end and there is enough expectation for more stories to come.
