Opposites attract
This was a lovely end to the series. This book can be read alone, but if it’s your first one from the series you will have a few spoilers as past characters make their presence felt.
Alexander came to his position of Duke at seventeen and he used the rules, perpetuated by his parents, to help himself navigate his way through life. Unfortunately he has forgotten how to live life and enjoy it.
This season’s Christmas party has been designed for Rafe to find the perfect Duchess. The problem is that the perfect Duchess for him is not perfect. Cynthia is unconventional and enthusiastic. She does what she wants and tries hard to ignore her attraction for Rafe.
This story and some of the other stories from the end of the series, happen at the same time, but in the background. This is one of the best stories in the series. It was an enjoyable and humorous read.
