Don't challenge this Gator
This last book in the series has been eagerly awaited. We were teased with Wes and Melanie and their past in the first book. And I've been waiting to read more from them ever since. Their dynamic together is interesting, there's lots of heat and explosive scenes. And by that I mean lots of arguments and disagreements, but the sort that show two people who care what the other thinks. It's certainly the darkest of the Bitten Point stories but it just fits so incredibly well with the characters. There's plenty of fear and angst. It had me on edge waiting to see what could possibly be around the corner. In the words of the author - "it was dark and action packed and full of second chance angst". And I loved it, there's so much fear from Melanie but there's also so much passion and a temperament to be envied. Wes is such a good guy, but he's decided he's no good and you just want to reach into the story and either give him a great big hug or a smack over the back of his head.
Either way this story has closed the Bitten Point series beautifully.
