Pickalee has been called to solve a new mystery, with Liesel and Jonathan by her side. But when a detective elf solves the mystery first, they are caught unawares. Can they trust the new detective on the scene? Or is there something more sinister at play?

Together with her two assistants, Liesel and Jonathan, Pickalee solves the mysteries, leaving no stone unturned. When Pickalee arrives at a mystery to have it already solved by a new detective, she finds tough competition.
