Not bad but not great either
The first book was great but personally I think this one is a let down. The plot is pretty standard and the writing is alright but Her relationships with both men felt really 2D which was surprising considering I absolutely loved alex and Harper in the first book. The whole love triangle plot felt pointless in the end with how the book wrapped up. We didn’t even get to see her thought process when Michael chased after her, that was a key point in the book and it was almost completely skipped, I did like alex POV but I feel like it would’ve been a much more significant moment if we got to see the whole thing pan out. The whole ending was very rushed and a big disappointment, definitely not worth the money.
