Jolene Zarkades has dedicated her life to two things: her family and her career as a helicopter pilot in the National Guard. Her 12-year marriage to Michael, however, is crumbling. A defense attorney, Michael has thrown himself into his work to cope with the death of his father and his feelings of distance from Jolene. This author can do no wrong in my book. Easy to read books that keep you hooked!
Not her best
I have read every one of her books. This was very disappointing. It was tacky and cheesy and eye rollingly stupid. I skipped most of it as it was just one long boring bit after another
Addictive despite its gory subject matter
Beautifully portrayed characters. I thoroughly enjoy Kristen Hannah’s books.
