EXPECT FIREWORKS
This was an entertaining collection of stories by Brandy Golden. My only complaint was that it was too short. I wanted more, so much more. The theme in each story is about fireworks in one form or another. The stories were creative and full of heart, heat, and soul. The author did a great job of introducing her characters in each of her tales. Each and every one of them had their vibe
and made their presence known. What a mischievous bunch of women. I pitied the men who tamed them but tame them they did in a time and tried tradition. It was hard to pick a favorite, but Cassidy from “Sawyer’s Woman” touched my heart, but all of the
others came a close second.
This story was a cracker by Ms. Golden and once it had its claws into me, it would not let go. The female characters were likable, if not troublemakers, who met their match over the knees of the men out to make an impression with their own brand of fireworks.
This was a feel-good, easy book to read with the perfect title that
encapsulates the overall theme of the book.
