If the shoe fits
I have previously read “One to watch” which is also a dating show story featuring a plus size MC, but she was the one in the ‘Bachelorette’ type roll, whereas this one has our MC as a possible love interest. When I first started I didn’t think I was going to enjoy this one as much as the other but it grew on me.
Firstly, the whole Cinderella storyline was pretty much nonexistent for me. Like she had a whole step family and was into shoes… but other than that I wasn’t really getting the connection. Not that it made the story any worse, but just because I was expecting it and it wasn’t really there…
I liked them together and I even shed a few tears at some of the more emotional parts. It was sweet and easy to read and I loved the portrayal of the plus size love interest.
