Publisher Description
Book three in the sexy, fun New York Times bestselling Wild Seasons series that began with Sweet Filthy Boy (the Romantic Times Book of the Year) and Dirty Rowdy Thing.
Lola and Oliver like to congratulate themselves on having the good sense not to consummate their drunken Las Vegas marriage. If they’d doubled-down on that mistake, their Just Friends situation might not be half as great as it is now.
…Or so goes the official line.
In reality, Lola’s wanted Oliver since day one—and over time has only fallen harder for his sexy Aussie accent and easygoing ability to take her as she comes. More at home in her studio than in baring herself to people, Lola’s instinctive comfort around Oliver nearly seems too good to be true. So why ruin a good thing?
Even as geek girls fawn over him, Oliver can’t get his mind off what he didn’t do with Lola when he had the chance. He knows what he wants with her now…and it’s far outside the friend zone. When Lola’s graphic novel starts getting national acclaim—and is then fast-tracked for a major motion picture—Oliver steps up to be there for her whenever she needs him. After all, she’s not the kind of girl who likes all that attention, but maybe she’s the kind who’ll eventually like him.
Sometimes seeing what’s right in front of us takes a great leap of faith. And sometimes a dark wild night in Vegas isn’t just the end of a day, but the beginning of a bright new life…
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Lauren (the Beautiful Bastard series) delivers a lively and fast-moving contemporary story of inevitable romance between best friends. San Diego based graphic novelist Lola Castle is thrilled that Hollywood wants to make a big-budget action movie out of her book Razor Fish. To her annoyance, the guys in Hollywood keep trying to change her coming-of-age story into a human/alien romance. Fortunately she has the full support of her friends, especially her longtime crush, Australian-born comic store owner Oliver Lore. To her surprise, Oliver admits he has strong feelings for her as well, which becomes one more complication in Lola's already overwhelmed life. Torn between her need to work and her desire for time with Oliver, Lola could lose both. Lauren provides plenty of steamy romance and sex to keep the story simmering. Fans of uncomplicated characters and straightforward contemporary romance will enjoy this brisk affair of the heart.

Highly recommend this series
Christina Lauren are a powerhouse duo, their writing is entertaining and sexy.
I couldn't wait to read Oliver and Lola’s book aka ,Loliver’, these two sensible geeks that didn't get hook up in Vegas. They have watched their best friends Mia and Ansel remain married and watched Harlow and Finn fall in love while they remained best friends.
Lola is quiet and reserved, she likes staying in the back ground and doesn't like attention. Her comic book has been been picked up and on its way to be made into a movie. As always she turns to Oliver the only friend who really gets her and is able to talk her down and ground her.
Oliver the sexy Aussie owns a comic book store and has a major crush on Lola. His feelings are pushed aside as their friendship has grows to a deeper level, he is afraid to ruin their friendship and doesnt want to district their friendship.
Lola feels more for Oliver but is scared if they cross the friend zone and it doesn't work out like it did with their best friends they will destroy their friendship, one they both don't want to loose. Will they cross the friend zone line?
I just adored Oliver and Lola together, both of them secretly not so secretly with their friends are lining for one another. Both have the same fears with crossing over the friend zone line, when they both need to take a risk like their friends have. Lola and Oliver have a special connection, they bring a calm over one another and know what the other is feeling. I loved their friendship.
The banter with this group of friends is entertaining especially Not Joe.
Every story gets better with each series
