Bit of a let down.
I've fallen in love with this series but had to admit this was a bit of a let down. Ever since the first book I've been really looking forward to hearing Justice's story. A lot of missed opportunity for an amazing storyline. It could have gone in many different directions as being the leader of Species presents innumerable possible conflicts.
The bravado leading up toward Justice's persona was bunted and he was very emasculated, and not just because of Jessie's role.
The romantic conflict and play in the story was very aggravating and immature. Very frustrating and felt like something out of a teenage trash novel. Not something you'd expect from adults in their late 20's to early 30's.
I've been devouring this series a book a day. It took 3 days to finish this and I really doubt about continuing it now.
