APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
The much anticipated sequel to Cold-Hearted Rake transported us to Victorian London and the glamorous lives of two star-crossed lovers. Rhys Winterborne is a domineering, self-made department store magnate whom society deems far beneath the shy and aristocratic Lady Helen Ravenel. Irresistible passion unites the two despite their class difference, and readers will swoon as the young lovers defy the odds and their families to find their happy ever after.
Another great one by Kleypas, I love love love every book, as evidenced by buying this book on preorder and then finishing it within hours of it landing in my iBook library and so good to see old friends in the next book to come, Devil in Spring. The only question is how long do I have to wait ??
Not Up To The Usual Standard
The plot was a slow moving, hackneyed thing. Surprisingly ordinary effort from a usually great author.
Another Kleypas favourite!
Marrying Winterbourne did not disappoint & l'm sure it will become a fan favourite. Rhys was the ultimate hero - in love!
