Scott Brick provides sizzling narration of this thriller about an amateur pilot trying to keep aloft a damaged jumbo passenger jet in the face of military ineptitude and corporate arrogance. Right from the start, Brick's crisp, somber narration hints at trouble to come. Excellent read
Mayday
I usually enjoy reading DeMille's books, however this time I almost put it down a few times in the first third of the book. There were too many people involved in nefarious activities to make it believable. The final third of the book went some distance in restoring my faith in one of my favorite writers.
