APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Matthew Reilly’s fast-moving historical epic foregrounds a fictional character on the margins of world history. Growing up next door to Albert Einstein before becoming the celebrity physicist’s junior secretary later in life, Hanna Fischer navigates espionage and love during World War II and beyond. Spanning Berlin, New York City and Princeton from 1912 to 1948, Mr Einstein’s Secretary proceeds at a brisk, breezy pace despite the tale’s ambitious sweep. Between flashbacks and flash-forwards, Hanna’s unusual (and largely secret) story unfolds against the backdrop of pivotal real-life events. Fans of Reilly’s previous foray into historical fiction—2013’s The Tournament/—will be right at home here.

Absolutely Fantastic
Once again, Matthew Reilly doesn’t fail to deliver with this new book, while it seemingly starts off slow it quickly retains the fast paced intensity that we know and love from his books. The story captivates and holds you throughout with twists and turns that are unexpectedly sprung upon you. I loved every minute of it and once I started reading it I couldn’t put it down. Keep up the great work and I can’t wait to see what you bring to the table next!
