“Addictive and loads of fun to read…one of the very best romantic suspense novels I read this year.” ~Dabney, The Passionate Reader
Hunted by her psycho ex-husband for years, Lanie flees across the globe to start a new life with a new identity. She thought she was safe in Bangkok, but now familiar faces are appearing in the crowds. Has her dangerous past caught up with her?
The last person she wants to turn to is her ultimate frenemy, sexy Professor Peter Maxwell. And what could a linguistics scholar do to help her, anyway? It's not as if he could be a badass secret agent with a super nerdy way of solving crimes...right?
Though he does seem to have lots of enemies. And some very unusual skills.
Everything changes when Laney finds him chained in a basement, all shirtless and sweaty. Will they finally team up? And is it too late to outwit an enemy neither of them has seen coming?
“Full of action and sparkling chemistry…this book is so much fun to read!” ~USA Today

“Wow...this book was most definitely a keep-you-at-the-edge-of-your-seat kind of novel. I went to bed when I was around the 60-65% novel, then woke up wide awake at 2:00 AM thinking about the book. There was no way I was going to go back to sleep until I finished the book. Yes, it was one of those.” ~Smitten with Reading

Customer Reviews
Absolutely Breathtaking.
I thought at first this was going to be a mushy romance. How wrong was I! I quite literally stayed up all night just to find out what happens next. Yes there was romance, but it was heart stoppingly raw and exciting and so unexpected. The storyline was amazing, giving an insight into the use of words and how they can define us. The reader is also plunged into the world of arms dealers, terrorists and killers for hire, so the book richly deserves the monicker of Thriller.
A fabulous read.
