Orelia has dedicated herself to her role as the reliable healer of Cerulean Cove's Western Village. However, her kind nature has made it difficult to keep her infirmary open and her business afloat, much to her younger sister's and her landlord's chagrin.

When Aelfric first entered the healer's curative shop, he was smitten by her caring heart and delicate beauty. The charming fairy envoy, who had money and magic at his fingertips, decides to step in and help after overhearing her plight.

He has one condition, though, and it involves the two of them becoming more than just friends.
