I’m snowed in.
With a famous hockey player.
My life has been a disaster. I’ve lost my job, my apartment, and my direction, so when my best friend suggests a week trip up to her house in Tahoe, I jump on the chance for a change in scenery.
Only, I didn’t anticipate Snowmageddon.
I didn’t anticipate being trapped on the side of the road and rescued by a famous hockey player—and certainly not by Lake Jordan, star center for the Sierra Hockey team, model, and entrepreneur.
I didn’t anticipate having to share his house.
Or that there would only be one bedroom.
And I didn’t anticipate…that he might want to keep me.
Forever.

Off to a great start!
Great read, Elise Faber always manages to find something original in any trope. There is a lightness in the way she deals with some very dark (family trauma & disfunction) that makes an unlikely happy ending plausible. Will definitely continue with this series.i
All the feels
Lake Jordan and Nova Cassidy’s story in Over the Line is the perfect start to the new Sierra Hockey Series and if their book s anything to go by Ms Faber will certainly have another hit series on her hands. Lake is captain and star Center for the Sierra hockey team but as much as he loves his time with his teammates he also can’t wait to find solace and alone time in his home. The last thing he expects is to rescue a beautiful woman and her crazy dog on his drive home the night the biggest storm of the year is forecast to hit. What follows is an entertaining read as Lake finds light in his life and Nova finds someone who will put her first. This book touched me on so many levels, I smiled, I swooned and I found myself hoping and wishing this couple got the HEA they both deserved. A great start to the new series and I’m very excited for whats to come from the Sierra Hockey Team.
