Publisher Description
A shy, uptight attorney who wants to be a mom on her own terms. An easygoing pro hockey player with his own fan club. Big family dynamics. And a meet cute involving a color-coded parenting plan...
As a pro hockey player, I’m used to women wanting things from me, but my swimmers? That’s a new one. Somehow, though, with her color-coded parenting plan, sales pitch and contract, Shelby Grant sells me on the idea. After my donation, she doesn’t want anything more to do with me.
I can’t seem to stay away, though. As her belly grows and I get to know the tightly wound mom-to-be, I get attached.
Shelby’s jaded about men and I’m not looking to settle down. There are countless reasons why crossing the contractual line between us is a bad idea.
But once Shelby gives birth to our child, all bets are off. Whether I planned for it or not, I have a family now, and I’m not letting go without a fight.

Loved it
I was so excited when I heard that Brenda Rothert had a new series releasing. I have read numerous books by this author and they have ticked all the boxes every time. The Donor was no exception. From the first chapter to the last I was hooked on this story. From the moment I first read the blurb, I couldn’t wait to read this book.
I loved Shelby Grant and Beau Fox both separately but especially as a couple. I fell hard and fast for Beau, such a caring, compassionate and swoon worthy man . My heart broke for Shelby and the life she has had through no fault of her own; all she wanted was someone to love and it moved me to tears.
I loved Marlowe and the Fox family, such wonderful secondary characters and I hope to see them in future books.
I loved the journey that these two embarked on as they moved from strangers to friends to lovers; totally heart warming. There were moments that took me by surprise and it was Beau’s turn for my heart to break for him. I never saw it coming and could not believe what I was reading, it was jaw dropping.
One click this little gem. If The Donor is anything to go by then Ms.Rothert has another winning series on her hands.
Don’t bother
Out of this world impossible events .. nothing believable .. not engaging in the story author trying to sell . Don’t waste your time
Entertaining
A new hockey series and what a fantastic start to kick the series off with. Brenda Rothert has once again given us characters and a storyline to fall hard and fast for and she has left me excited for for what’s to follow in A Colorado Coyotes Hockey Romance. This is Shelby Grant and Beau Fox’s captivating journey and I was drawn in from the first page and there was no putting down until the final word had been read.
I loved everything about this at times heartbreaking journey and I honestly wanted more from Grant and Shelby. Shelby is looking to her future, not looking for love from a man but looking to build her life with her own child and that’s where Grant one of Denver’s most eligible bachelors comes in. What follows is a friendship with strong bonds that soon turns into so much more…….
The Donor has all the feels, it’s emotional yet entertaining, it’s witty yet heartbreaking and it has characters I adored but what took this book to another level was watching Beau put everything he has into teaching Shelby that love us worth taking a chance on.
I urge you all to one click this gem of a read.
