Keystone faces its most powerful foe.
The Keystone members are invited to a Winter Ball at Lenore Parrish’s mansion but they and the rest of the guests are ambushed by the waitstaff and their leader a powerful mage. The mage steals their jewellery and then casts a spell placing them in a half dead state. They can’t eat, drink or change clothes, eventually they find that only other breed can see them. The Keystone mansion is also seized on the same night only 2 Keystone members are spared from the spell. This is a curse they cannot escape and they all feel helpless. This plot is full of twists and action and liberally spiced with humour.
