They say breaking up is hard to do. They’re wrong. Living with the consequences is so much harder, especially when sorrow is a powerful draw to evil …
Lizzie Grace is trying to get on with her life now that she and Aiden have gone their separate ways, but it’s a difficult thing to do when just about everything reminds her of the damn man.
The situation is made worse when a body is found, and her job as Deputy Reservation Witch means she has no choice but to interact with him. At first, the death seems to be nothing more than an accidental drowning in a remote location, but it’s soon evident a supernatural entity is involved.
As they race to uncover what is going on, it becomes clear that this evil is not only targeting werewolves, but one particular pack—the O’Connor’s.
And the reason might well be the song of sorrow. A song that Lizzie’s grief might have given birth to…

Keeps you hooked-action!
Magic abounds in the Australian werewolf reservation that Lizzie Grace lives in and as a witch who is tied to the wild magic of a wellspring on the reservation, she has encountered more than her share of it.
Her relationship with the reservation’s head ranger and future, werewolf alpha, Aiden was recently ended although each is hurting and missing the other. It is pack politics, the distrust and hatred of Aiden’s mother, that have driven a wedge between them but still they work together to keep the reservation safe. Tensions rise as a siren-like being turns up and lures a werewolf to his death and then a murderer starts attacking elderly women in the area. Will Liz and her fellow witches be able to protect everyone? Will Aiden’s mother finally succeed in driving Liz away?
Couldn’t put it down!
Love this book, great like all the others in the series. I just wish we could read the next one straight away! Cannot wait to see what happens in Canberra and if they get back together. In the meantime I’ll re read them all again.
Fierce & fiery
I am enjoying this series immensely. Did not want this to end & wait impatiently for the next release, which I have pre-ordered. I wish this heroine well on every level & look forward to her achieving her desires, even if the series must end. Really though, it doesn’t have to, you know. We already know a second generation is waiting in dreams. Looking forward to it.
