Kevin Hearne creates the ultimate Atticus O'Sullivan adventure in the grand finale of the New York Times bestselling Iron Druid Chronicles.
Unchained from fate, the Norse gods Loki and Hel are ready to unleash Ragnarok, a.k.a. the Apocalypse, upon the earth. With a whole host of dark allies on their side, there's a globe-spanning battle on the cards - one which Druid Atticus O'Sullivan will be hard-pressed to survive, much less win.
Atticus must recruit the aid of an Indian witch and a trickster god in hopes that they'll give him just enough leverage to both save Gaia and see another sunrise. After all - if the world ends, who's going to make sure the hound Oberon gets his well-deserved snack?

Brilliant
It is sad to see this series has finally come to an end, my favourite author and my favourite protagonist! Another brilliant book written by one of the best story tellers of our time! Love your work Kevin, can’t wait for you future stories.
A definite must read.
A massive journey closing in the most full way
Kevvvvinnnnnn!
You are an amazing author - I loved each and every book of the iron Druid saga. Every book made me come back more and more eager. Except this bad boy.....
Spoiler alert!
Did you run out of time? Did you think that a mediocre ending fit the build up? Did you get your pressured to make a politically correct ending, making it bland? Did you lose interest?
Granalie reasoning for leaving was such a cringe and unrealistic finish.
The fight with Loki? So underwhelming and uneventful.
The sloth?! Seriously- your gonna waste 1/4 of a finishing book on a stupid sloth?!?
I felt like the only real emotional part of the book was Indian witch taking on the beast in Ireland. That was poetic and well written.
I know there’s no point in complaining but I just needed to vent.
Disappointing ending to otherwise good series
Sadly, this story ends up all being one big manipulation “lesson” turned into Christian religion nonsense instead of the professed Irish/ Gaia support our Druid claims. We end with a large problem for Gaia’s energy once again, no gods held accountable and an annoying comic book trope that wasn’t at all the satisfying conclusion we were hoping for.
I’ve avoided spoilers of the specifics that truly irked. If you should buy it you’ll see what I mean, maybe you’ll agree, I certainly had hoped for more.
