Sensual Carvings

Sensual art has always remained a debated issue. When I first started out in Photography after my high school, I was quite hesitant towards sensual arts. The cultural norms and the community I grew up at was shy and refrained itself from such topics. However, as I ventured through the western worlds and came face to face to discussions on art, my opinion changed. I now believe that they are rare and must be treasured.

'Sensual Carvings' is a collection of images of wood carvings from 3 temples around the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. I hope the art is still intact and lets people witness history that were carved centuries ago.
