Heartfelt entertaining read
4.5 Stars for Seth book 2 in The Casella Cousins Series. Kathryn Shay is fairly new to me but with each book I pick up I find myself getting more and more engrossed and captivated by her writing, her characters and her small towns. I always feel like I’m going home to visit my family and friends with each book I have read. Seth may be a quick read but don’t be fooled by that, this is still a entertaining, captivating read. Seth Casella and Julianne Ford has a history but when they need to work together they find the sparks haven’t died, there is still a lot of sizzling chemistry between them but can they come to terms with the past and move on with the future..... This book is an entertaining read, it certainly has all the feels you want and expect in a great read and I’m really looking forward to hearing the rest if The Casella Cousins stories.
Entertaining
Kathryn Shay is a relatively new author to me and how I have not come across her books before, I have absolutely no idea. This is the second book in her latest series and I enjoyed it. The writing was strong, with characters that were easy to relate to and a story line that you cannot help but become invested in.
The chemistry and connection between legal aid attorney Seth Casella and music therapist Julianne Ford is obvious. However having had her heart broken by Seth before, she has no intention of giving him another chance, despite the fact that he says he has changed.
Both Seth and Julianne have grown and when a legal aid case that Seth is involved in means that he and Julianne will need to work together to help her students sparks will fly.
Can they both come to terms with the past and in turn forge a path to happiness? Once click and find out.
This was an entertaining read that ticked the boxes for me and I am excited to see what
Ms. Shay has in store for the rest of the series.
