Publisher Description
TC Matson brings us an all new small town, grumpy sunshine standalone love story.
“When I look at you, I see someone whose storm made them bend, but never break. When I look at me, I am the storm.”
Morgan
Eight years of marriage and a beautiful son didn’t stop my husband from walking out on us.
He got the house, all the money, and a girlfriend.
I got the SUV, a few boxes of things, and our son.
I’m starting over and it’s terrifying.
A new town. A new job. A new home.
My goal is to care for my son and give him a semblance of normality while I pick up my broken pieces and mend my shattered self-esteem.
The last thing I expected was for my tattoo-covered landlord to nestle his way into my heart.
He’s broody and quiet, all grunts and head nods.
Letting him close means opening myself back up to the potential of getting hurt.
I’ve got my son to think about.
So why do I lie in bed at night thinking of him?
Callen
My demons haunt me. They run through my veins.
I accepted long ago that my life will never have a happy ending.
My gray world will never have any color.
Until her.
The strong, single mother with eyes the color of sapphire gems.
All the colors in her world shine a light into my damaged and broken soul.
But I’m incapable of giving her love and affection—all the things she deserves.
My secrets will have her running away.
However, that doesn’t stop me from wanting to stain her world with my darkness.
Taint it with gray.
Little do I know, she’s the very air I didn’t know I needed.
Author’s Note: A recently divorced single mother meets a grumpy, broody, tattooed man with a damaged soul who doesn’t believe in happy ever afters. This is a story about finding love after trauma.
Show Me the Way is a steamy, page-turning, emotional roller coaster that will tug at your heart, make you grab the tissues while delivering an HEA!

Brilliant from start to finish

What a story
Ticked all my boxes
This author is fairly new to me but after reading Callen, Morgan and little Colby’s journey I need to check out other books by the very talented T.C. Matson. This is book one in the Worth the Wait Series and if this book is anything to go by she will certainly have a hit series on her hands. Morgan has been forced out of her home when her husband files for divorce and gives her ten minutes to back up her and her son Colby’s belongings and get out. With no where else to go she heads to her brothers and he gives her his spare rooms while she gets settled but Morgan is an independent single mum and looking to do the best for her and Colby she finds herself a rental and that’s where Callen her new landlord comes in. What follows is an very emotional journey as two broken souls find strength in each other but there were as many happy times as sad times in this read and a little boy named Colby stole a piece of my heart and at times he stole the show. I couldn’t put this book down and I lost sleep as I became engrossed in this story, I fell hard and fast for Callen and my heart broke as we got his story, I adored Morgan and I loved the strength she showed throughout this book but it was Colby who was the light in the sometimes darkness and he had me smiling and giggling. This book touched me on so many levels and this story touched on some difficult subjects but it’s beautifully written, there is angst but there is also love, there is heartache but there is also strength in the community and I loved it all.
