Publisher Description
USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR Claudia Burgoa finishes an emotional rockstar romance duet where second chances between soulmates could make the difference between love and loss.
Karma is a… she’s not nice.
It’s been ten long years since Jacob and I parted ways.
I moved on… well, at least I thought I did.
That was until I’m asked to clean the image of Jacob Decker.
Rockstar, playboy, womanizer JC Decker.
He’s spoiled, rude, and inappropriate.
I shouldn’t take the job, but I need the money.
I swallow my pride and work for him.
Closely.
Too close.
That’s when I uncover the wounds he hides.
The scars underneath his dismissive attitude.
And his shattered heart.
Can I just walk away when I’m about to find the man I once loved?
Strangers In Love is the conclusion of the highly angsty Somehow Everlasting novel.

All the feels
Please make sure you have read book one, Almost Strangers before picking up this one because Strangers in Love is the conclusion to Jacob Decker and Pria Walker’s journey and it picks up right where book one finished. I really don’t have the words to do this book justice because Ms Burgoa has taken her love stories to another level with this couple, she has shown us that raw and gritty can also be sweet and romantic. This is a journey about two soulmates who can’t find their way together or apart and honestly at times I really couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel but have no fear love will always win the day. The journey was full of twists and turns, the road was bumpy but the journey was worth it in the end. This story broke my heart, I cried real ugly tears but when my heart was put back together again I was left with a big smile on my face. Great conclusion to a beautifully written duet.
A wonderful conclusion!
Oh what a wonderful conclusion to a fabulous duet by the talented Claudia.
Great storytelling
This is the conclusion of the Somehow Everlasting Duet. If you haven't read Almost Strangers, book one in the duet, then STOP as it needs to be read before this book.
This book was everything I was expecting and so much more. Jacob Decker and Pria Walker’s continuing story was just as emotional as the first book, just like riding an emotional roller coaster. It drew so many emotions out of me that I felt as though I have been through the ringer.
There were moments that I feared neither of them would get the happily ever after that they deserved. Jacob and Pria are two halves of a whole and while there were moments where I doubted they would get their happily ever after, they were destined to be together. Claudia Burgoa ripped my heart apart and then put it back together.
A heartbreaking, emotional and fitting conclusion to a beautifully written duet; it left me with one heck of a book hangover.
