This is exactly what I was looking for. As a language teacher I was recently inspired by a colleague’s use of iBooks Author to create supplementary material for her students of French to use on their iPads outside the classroom. But how to get started? With Pamela Johnson’s tips and examples, that’s how.
Just reading this ibook introduced me to possibilities I might never have imagined and being inspired is a great way to start. Pamela is obviously an accomplished teacher because she emphasises the planning stages and the importance of identifying the purpose of the ibook I wnat to write.
The really exciting part, however, is the detailed information on HOW to create the ibook with text, images, pop-overs, activities etc. There are examples of and links to additional widgets to make the content even more interactive such as iBook-Widgets.
