APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
After vying for power across the first two books of The Atlas series, The Alexandrian Society’s latest initiates now compete again each other, with monumental stakes. Reaching beyond that immediate arena of magic and knowledge, there’s a greater threat to life itself. As Olivie Blake’s dark fantasy trilogy reaches its dramatic finale, the author builds out this complex world with her signature sense of mythic proportions and zinging dialogue. Widening in scope, The Atlas Complex unfolds through ornate, flowing prose punctuated with knowing asides. Blake remains deeply concerned with contradictory thoughts and beliefs, naming the book’s broader sections after distinctive schools of philosophy. Yet for all its conceptual heft, this final instalment balances a quickening pace and well-integrated backstory to serve up an emotionally rewarding conclusion.
Customer Reviews
Terrible read
Terrible .. boring and over explains everything… book one was ok.. two worse and three unreadable.
Why did I waste my money
Kept hoping this series would get better after all the hype. Should’ve stopped reading after the first one. What a waffling load of claptrap, with no real resolution and drawn out pages and pages of boring nothing.
Just too sad
I know it was supposed to be sad but that was too far.
