Badrse ,

A seriously great read

The opening chapters had me hooked for the quirky and vivid imagery alone. The story is great but almost secondary to the fantastic but still understated commentary on lifes ups and downs through in some great characters and truly funny moments and I rate this the best thing I’ve read in years

Aron Jürisson ,

His best one yet.

I love how David Mitchell has created a Universe of his own - and I love the cross-references between his (seemingly unrelated) different works. Beautifully written and more bold on the fantasy side than every before - definitely re-reading this one! Thirlling ride!

Myer rubbish ,

Left feeling duped

This book started well and the author kept my interested by dangling a carrot as things got boring but the carrot was completely removed for last chapters. Cannot believe I wasted my time and effort on this.
