Devoured it like a mind demon
A fantastic conclusion that was impossible to put down. Brett’s action sequences are fantastic, a seamless joining of magic and martial art creating genuine mortal combat. A great crescendo to end it all, absolutely brilliant.
Wordless! Beyond a Word!
I, probably like many of you, am an avid fan of Fantasy and Science Fiction writers and their works. Peter V Brett’s Demon War Cycle and accompanying books, are great works. I have read them all, and now am in withdrawal at the loss of anything to read. So what to say about them and the author? Wordless! As there are no words to describe his works. This is no idyll praise, as I am very critical. But as I said P.V.B’s work is Wordless! Peter V Brett along with David Gemmell, Raymond E Fiest, and Joe Abercrombie are my favourite authors to date.
Sadness that it has ended
Thankyou for an excellent series, world, magic system, characters and plot.
I know authors need to end and move on, but I hope this is picked up by Netflix or the Sci Fi Tv executives and turned into a wonderful series.
It is with sadness I will now put all of these novels away for a time before starting it all over again.
Well done, well crafted. Look forward to your new stories, you have earned that respect.
