Customer Reviews
A disturbing read
Jonasson and Cribb certainly capture the dark and atmospheric nature of the Icelandic world. I found this one too disturbing and regret choosing to read it. I had worked out the perpetrator fairly early, unlike the detective who was severely punished for her ignorance. Sad, haunting, not for sensitive readers.
Can’t recommend
All of the characters lacked depth, the constant changing of narrative was annoying and the plot was unbelievable.
