The problem of air pollution may be avoided by using mushrooms to bioprocess the lignocellulosic waste materials, which may later be used as highly proteinaceous feed for livestock [1]. The mushrooms that are harvested have a high commercial and nutritive value and may be consumed by the grower or sold in the open market for profit [2].
