Professional chef Lucy abandons her unfaithful husband and the hugely successful Sydney restaurant she co-owns with him, moving in with her hippie mum and opening a pop-up eatery in a decrepit Woolloomooloo property. Barrett colours in the contours of her amusing cast of characters with such flair and humour you can’t help but fall in love. Endearing
Oh for the love of Lucy and Frankie, I wish the story is longer. Warning their story is addictive, you’ll not be able to put it down til your finished. Though some plot is predictable, the twist is unexpected. A story for a Reese Witherspoon movie.

Full of delicious characters that will leave you wanting more.
This is the perfect book to take on holidays as it whisks you away on a dream of possibility. Can’t wait for the Tv series or movie on this book.
Don't start this before bed
I started this thinking I'd read a couple of chapters then go to sleep. Wrong very wrong. Its such a good read I had to keep going and ended up finishing it in one session. Great characters, good story, it's a ghost story with charm.
