APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
True to form, this standout Nordic thriller is dark, sinister and shiver-inducing. Bestselling Norwegian author Jo Nesbø manages to make totems of innocence and warmth—a snowman and a mother’s scarf—instantly foreboding. Nesbø’s seventh Harry Hole mystery is a thrilling game of cat-and-mouse with a taunting killer. His unorthodox hero is as punchy as ever, bringing a satisfying depth of character to an utterly nerve-bending crime story.

Snowman
A good fast action packed read. Did it in 11/2 days.
Need to take a knife to this book
There are good bits in this book separated by gulfs of meandering, slackness and therefore any tension dissipates. The publishers seriously needed to insist this book be cut down to size. The length drowns the tension that is there. It could’ve been much better and the pages turning faster. Instead I’d play a game on my phone when I should’ve been reading this. To be fair it’s probably 2.5 stars.
Brilliant book
Brilliant book, hard to put down.
