Dragged on and was very predictable.
Author painted great pictures ‘though…
Not scary but horrifying
I chose this book for one of my six reads in a Halloween reading challenge and it absolutely delivered the horror I was looking for. If Stand By Me was a coming of age adventure, this is a coming to death adventure. Innocence collides with an unstoppable force of destruction, a blind hunger supercharged by man’s stupidity and greed.
