Behind the Pattern!
So many rich insights from such a short story, Charlotte Perkins Gilman was so ahead of her time. The central concept of oppression being the most powerful when it masquerades as ordinary life is timeless. Learning to perceive the hidden patterns that oppress women is as relevant today as it was in the Victorian era. Brilliant feminist read.

Disappointing
My friends and teachers alike had told me many good things about this book but it was disappointing to say the least.
