APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Dark and intense, Till Death is perfect for readers looking for some edge in their romance. Ten years after escaping a serial killer, Sasha Keaton has returned to her hometown hoping to start over—possibly with her high school crush Cole Landis, now an FBI agent. Their second chance at love is disrupted when women start disappearing and Sasha's once cold case becomes urgent again. Alternately achingly sexy and absolutely terrifying, this novel isn't for the faint of heart.
Customer Reviews
Suspenseful with a dash of romance.
Its no secret that JLA is one of my one-click must read authors. So when I received this read on my kindle I was giddy with excitement and couldn't wait to read.
Sasha Keeton left her hometown is West Virginia 10 years ago after she survived the clutches of a twisted serial killer named the "Groom". Leaving behind her family, friends and boyfriend. There were only 2 people she kept in contact with her mother and best-friend Miranda.
After 10 years of being away Sasha returns home to help her mother, with the running of the family business. Sasha never really escaped the terror of her past even though the "Groom" died 10 years earlier. Suffering nightmares and watching her back constantly. Now that she has returned home women have gone missing and wound up dead days later, and Sasha has been threatened. Their are so many similarities to what happened years earlier, so who could it be? A copy cat serial killer? Or, is it just a coincidence?
Cole Landis is our hero in this book and also Sasha's ex-boyfriend, who she left behind. Cole now works for the FBI and has felt guilt for the last 10 years as he feels he should have protected Sasha the night she was taken. After so many years of being apart and the way Sasha left there is still a big connection between the two. Cole knows what he wants and vows to protect Sasha, the way he couldn't a decade ago.
The mayor thinks she shouldn't have returned home, there's a reporter who knows many secrets and keeps asking questions. Everyone wants to help.
Sasha is definitely my new fave heroine. She is so strong and wants to live her life, even after everything shes been through and that was pretty messed up. Cole is just swoon-worthy, he's so protective of Sasha and does everything to make sure she is safe. Sasha's mum and friends are very supportive and caring. There were times I even had a bit of a giggle, I love how Jennifer put a bit of humor in there.
Jennifer has put in a lot of clues along the way which points at who it may be but also has you second guessing a lot. Once I started I struggled to put this suspenseful and emotional story filled with twists and turns down. My eyes were glued to the pages.
