Publisher Description
Eight years ago, Garret Banks swept me clear off my feet, catching me before I fell on my ass.
Our love was instantaneous, all-consuming and intense. We never thought the flame would die down, let alone extinguish.
We have everything we've ever wanted. Successful careers, a beautiful son and a rock-solid marriage. We're living the dream. Right?
But how quickly dreams can turn into nightmares. Garret's job is taking its toll on him, my whole world seems to be in shambles, and now I've got to deal with a blast from my past I thought I'd long buried. And that past wants answers—answers I'm not willing to give.
We grab quick and dirty sex when we can, but that just doesn't seem to be enough and our marriage feels more tested and strained than ever before.
I was sure that I'd found my knight in shining armor, my happily ever after, my forever, but my marriage is being forced to bend more than it should—more than it can. So much so that I'm afraid it might just snap.

This will have you captivated
This book had me gripped from the prologue and captivated right up to the end. Amy and Garret have found love and forever with each other and life should be happy and carefree now. Seven years into their marriage with a one year old and demanding jobs are taking its toll on them as they try to adjust. This book will make you laugh, it will have you anxious and nervous for these two and at times it will make your heart ache as they struggle. As this is part 1 of a 2 part series you will be left needing and wanting more. The ending doesn’t leave you on a massive cliffhanger but it does have you asking lots of questions and jumping to your own conclusions. Like all Whitley Cox books it gets hot and steamy just how we like them. This book will have a personal connection to a lot of readers that have all battled the change life and children put on relationships as we learn to adjust to change from that carefree honeymoon phase. Absolutely loved this book and can’t wait for the final installment to Garret and Amy’s story, fingers crossed these two end up happy forever.l
