Publisher Description
It’s funny how one night can change everything.
As a bartender near campus, I’m certain I’ve heard it all. Rarely a shift passes without some guy taking his best shot, hoping I’ll end my self-proclaimed dating diet.
Of course, this is exactly how I meet Vince.
Except, he isn’t the one running his mouth.
No, he simply shuts down his idiotic friend, then stops my heart with the simplest of smiles and walks away.
Just when I force myself to forget him, he bumps into me on campus.
Our connection is consuming, and my world is knocked off kilter. It’s far beyond physical attraction. He’s smart, sexy, and feels like—home?
Wait, that can’t be right…
Whatever it is, Vince has me breaking my rules to spend time with him.
My entire life I’ve prepared for meeting the wrong guys.
What the hell should I do when I find the right one?

Enjoyable
Amanda Shelley is a new author to me. All it takes is one instant to change the course of so many lives and that is what happened to Vince and Sydney.
This was an entertaining, emotional read that drew me in and kept me interested from the first to the last chapter. I found Amanda Shelley’s writing style to be enjoyable and the story flowed quite well.
When they meet, the attraction is immediate but the question is will they act on it or deny themselves what they both want? Both Vince and Sydney have baggage and still trying to come to terms with the past. What will happen when Vince’s secret is revealed? Will Sydney run?
I loved how sassy and feisty Sydney is, not afraid to give as good as she gets whilst Vince is such a loving, compassionate and caring man; they seemed to be so right for one another. The connection between them is strong and it was a good foundation to build a relationship on.
3.5 stars
I enjoyed Vince and Sydney’s book. I liked the tidbits of seeing past characters. I adored Julia and Vanessa.
Heartwarming storyline! Loved it!
Vince is my first book by the author and I have to say I definitely want to read more of her work if this story is anything to go by.
I loved the characters and their strength and how heartwarming the storyline was. I really loved Sydney. What a woman. Strong, determined and when she meets Vince, needless to say she really makes him work for her attention. Their banter was amazing, their chemistry undeniable. Vince’s niece really did steal the show, such a cute kid. Their family bond is really quite something!
This book was really wonderful. It had my attention from the start and to be quite honest I am excited to read more from the series. Parts of Vince’s story may be sad, however the way he has grown and the way he supports his sister is admirable.
Loved it!
