Good story
Stacey Lynn is a relatively new author to me. I quickly became invested in the story that Ms.Lynn wove and cannot wait to read more in this series. This is Tessa Chauncy and Jason Taylor’s story and it was an entertaining read that ticked the boxes for me.
Having been badly burnt and left with virtually nothing by her ex, Tessa turns to her brother Sawyer for help. Jason has been attracted to his best friend Sawyer's sister for sometime but she has no clue and ironically Tessa has always had a crush on Jason.
I loved the chemistry that sizzled between Tessa and Jason and that their attraction morphs from friendship into a relationship. I could easily see myself being friends with Tessa and Jason was totally swoon worthy. I also liked that Jason was prepared to push Tessa out of her comfort zone and was there for her and supportive.

Great addition
What a great addition to the Ice King Series, each story can be read as stand-alone’s as each book is about a different player from the Ice Kings NHL Team, although I’m sure once you pick one of these books up you will want to read the rest of the series. This is Tessa Chauncy and Jason Taylor’s story and it’s a tale with all the feels you want and expect in a great read, it certainly ticked all my boxes and I’m sure if you one click this gem you won’t be disappointed. Jason has had feelings for his best friend Sawyer’s sister for many years but it was a line he wasn’t prepared to cross because Sawyer is not only his best friend he is also a teammate. Funny thing is Tessa has crushed on Jason for as long as she can remember but both were clueless to each other’s feelings until now..... will Jason take a leap of faith or will Sawyer still be in the way. The chemistry is sizzling as this relationship goes from friends to lovers but it was Jason supporting Tessa on her next journey that really touched me. I loved everything about this book, it has all the feels, I smiled at the witty banter and I swooned as this couple took their friendship to the next level and I can’t wait to see where Ms Lynn takes us next.
