Publisher Description
Sometimes scoring off the ice leads to the greatest rewards.
I've had only one goal in life since I first strapped on a pair of skates—make America's pro hockey league.
I left Denmark. I made it to the top. Now, I'm determined to be the best. No distractions. I eat, sleep, and breathe hockey.
Until my birthday when my teammates convince me to live a little.
But living a little takes on a whole new meaning when less than a year later I'm confronted with a crying baby on my doorstep, drooling on a note that declares he's mine.
Suddenly, I'm a single dad in way over my head.
There is no playbook for situations like this.
Luckily, I have Paisley.
My gorgeous neighbor, my long-time crush, and now—my savior.
She's there any time I need her.
Helping. Guiding. Gazing at me with those green eyes that make me feel capable of this after all.
With her at my side, I'm quickly learning there's more to life than winning a hockey game.

Loved it
Stacey Lynn is a relatively new author to me. I loved the dynamic between Ice Kings, Mikah and Paisley. Mikah is laser focused on one thing and one thing only and that is hockey and achieving the goals that he has mapped out for himself. However, all it takes is one lapse, in this case, celebrating his birthday to have it all come crashing down around him.
Suddenly finding yourself a father and having no idea how or what to do with said baby certainly created some intense and at times heartfelt and awkward situations for Mikah. He is lucky that his neighbour Paisley is willing to help him out.
As he stumbles through becoming a father, with Paisley's help, he learns that there is more to life than hockey. It was gratifying and heart warming to watch the relationship develop between Mikah and Paisley. Oh and don’t get me started on how my heart just about melted with Mikah and his baby’s interactions; totally swoon worthy.
The chemistry sizzled between them and Ms. Lynn packed a lot into this entertaining story. There was heat, humour and drama which only added to my enjoyment as you cannot help but become invested in their story.
